Floorball Australia Limited would like to share the following information with our members and stake holders.

Peter Hatful, founding Director and Independent Chairman, has resigned his position. We wholeheartedly thank Peter for his professionalism, guidance and support with the establishment and running of Floorball during these exceptional times.

As such, the Floorball Australia Limited Board has voted in Malcolm James as the new Director and Independent Chairman. Mal comes with a wealth of operational management and strategic leadership experience and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. We welcome Mal to Floorball and the Board.

Bill Howitt, Director of Floorball Australia Limited, was nominated for and has subsequently been appointed to the International Floorball Federation (IFF) Ethics Commission. We congratulate Bill on his appointment.

Vanessa Dwyer, Director of Floorball Australia and National Women’s Team Member, has been accepted into the 2022 July AusSport Women Leaders in Sport Workshop Program. These workshops equip individuals with modern leadership techniques, offer crucial insights into the sporting world and connect women from all corners of the country. We congratulate Vanessa on her acceptance into the program.

Floorball Australia Limited would also like to announce the appointment of Rodney Berry as the U19 Men’s Team Manager. Rodney joins Head Coach, Joshua Hay, in supporting the team in their preparation for the WFCQ in Wellington. Best of luck!
