Expressions of Interest are now open for the Australian Men’s Floorball Team for the 2020 World Men’s Floorball Championships scheduled to be played in December in Helsinki, Finland.

Please be aware, that in these uncertain times during the COVID-19 global pandemic, no guarantee that the World Championships will take place can be given by Floorball Australia. Further to this, details including when, how or if selection and any associated camps will take place can also not be given. The evolving nature of the COVID-19 Pandemic and restrictions and conditions in place by the Australian Federal and State Governments means Floorball Australia cannot make any guarantees, other than we will continue to operate in accordance with the restrictions in the interests of all members across Australia.

Furthermore, Floorball Australia understand that elements of our National Selection policy, such as the requirement to attend AFO and the need for the team to be announced at least 6 months prior to the team leaving cannot be adhered to. As previously stated, Floorball Australia is unable to provide any information about selection or the selection process currently, however, at all times, we will be transparent and open in keeping all members who submit an EOI updated as to the process.

The EOI will remain open until a until May 29, 5:00pm AWST. For your EOI to be valid you must be a Full Financial Member of Floorball Australia. Should your membership not be current at the close of the EOI there will be a $20 processing fee imposed.
